A fleeting warm autumn day in Falmouth
A tourist hotspot but for obvious good reason. A quintessential image of Cornish mining. Mind glowingly beautiful scenery on our doorstep here in West Cornwall. For me the placement of such exquisite industrial architecture in this typical mine engine house amidst the wild and inaccessible clifftops is so powerful, and then add in the pounding and relentless Atlantic surf below and it sets a scene unparalleled anywhere else.
